Surana Evening College has launched "Green Campus," a project aimed at raising environmental awareness at both the individual and community levels. SEC has various eco-friendly practices on campus. As part of this commitment, the Environment Club and several college departments perform extension initiatives outside of campus to safeguard our surroundings and raise environmental awareness.

Specific initiatives and activities:

• 1. Rainwater harvesting system for rainwater conservation.
• 2. Water percolation system to increase the ground water level.
• 3. Installation of solar panels for optimum utilization of solar energy.
• 4. Saplings for distribution.
• 5. Pedestrian friendly pathways.
• 6. Planting of trees in various locations outside the campus.

SEC also organises several competitions, webinars, awareness campaigns, and Swatch Bharath initiatives for students to promote environmental conservation, as well as World Environment Day on June 5th each year to highlight the need and importance of saving our mother earth.
